Ferrochrome

HomeproductsFerrochrome

Chromium is one of the alloying elements in the steel industry. It enhances corrosion and oxidation resistance, improves wear resistance, and keeps the strength level at elevated temperatures.

High carbon ferrochrome (6-8% C grade, 60-70% chromium) is the most widely used chromium type in stainless and alloy steel making.

Below are the most common specifications this group can supply.

Size Distribution Cr % Si % P % C % S %
10-60 ≥ 62 ≤ 2 < 0.05 6-8.5 < 0.05
